Introducing Our Queen
In the first segment of Royals, I present our Queen, whose personal relationships are entwined with political intrigue and ancient magic. She carried a deep connection to the Forest, which was bound to her kingdom's prosperity. She was young and dangerously passionate.
Her heart easily manipulated.
To end the coercion,
She resolved to rip her heart out.
“Thus, I have made a vow: I shall rip my heart from my breast, that it may no longer ache in thy absence. For what is love without peace? And what is joy when only sorrow follows?”
She (irresponsibly?) encased her heart in a small brooch and entrusted it to the forest Witch.
